Without a bike, you were imprisoned by how far & fast you were willing to run.

I grew up in Littleton, Colorado where the roads were bike friendly. It was a time when kids left the house in the morning and had to be home at dusk. Without a bike, you were imprisoned by how far and how fast you were willing to run. I wanted the Schwinn Lemon Peeler with the small front wheel. I had saved some money and my Dad was going to help me out with the rest but he thought the little tire was stupid from an engineering point of view. I relented and ended up with the 5 speed Fastback Stingray. No regrets.blog comments powered by Disqus
