Why I ride
Liz Greenberg - Derry, NH
I ride for my health and to contribute to the health of others. I started riding again last year after not riding in many years and began training for the Rochester Tour De Cure. My goal was to ride the metric century route and to raise $500 for diabetes research and treatment. Well I met the first goal without walking a single hill and way exceeded my second goal by raising more than $2,600 with the support of many friends and family members.
Once I started riding though, I continued riding for the sheer joy and freedom of the sport itself! I was blessed to enjoy an extensive system of car free trails around Rochester and roads with wide shoulders—something I really miss now that I'm living in Southern New Hampshire.blog comments powered by Disqus
