Why I ride in the U.S. and Germany

I always loved having a bike but when I moved to Germany in 2008, it took that experience to another level. Everyone had a bike, everyone did bike tours, they even have a company called Callabike where you can rent a bike on the streets. Bike paths are everywhere, bike parking is everywhere and I rode my bike at least 5 days a week for personal or business pleasure.

I just recently moved back to Owings Mills, MD after almost 7 years in Germany and the first thing I did was get a bike. I found out about your organization after buying a car at a local Volkswagen dealer. I love the promotion on this because VW is a German company and Germany is very bike friendly. I see the changes DC and NYC have done to accommodate bike riders and I love that. I believe this should be done throughout the U.S. I love bike riding because it helps you relieve stress, keeps you healthier, is better for the environment and gives you a chance to spend some quality time with friends and family with a nice bike ride.
