Thanks, Stella
A few years ago a friend moved to Portland, OR and gave me his bike. I wanted the bike simply to get around the city faster. I could never have imagined the joy that it gives me on a daily basis. It makes me feel young, uninhibited, and free. I ride in the cold and the rain and the sunshine. I ride in the snow. I ride to get to work. I ride to the grocery store. I ride for fun. I ride to enjoy the day, and to enjoy the night. I ride when I'm feeling stressed. I ride because I love it. It's exhilarating; it's playful; it's fun. We all need more of these things in our lives, because these are the things that make life worth living. Thanks, Stella. (Yup, that's my bike's name.)
