Riding

I ride to keep my stress level down and keep my sanity and because it's coooooool!  It saves money on gas, it is enviromentally friendly, I get exercise and can often go places cars cannot. I have a healthy tan, nice legs and people tell me I look younger than I am.
I cannot recall a time in my life that I did not have a bike for long.
On December 1st 2012 I was hit by a wreckless driver in Henderson Nevada.  I was in a crosswalk with a green light when he came around the corner and hit me. Destroyed my bike, gave me a concussion, destroyed my clothes too.
I was in the hospital and my bike was stolen off the rack on the car.
I was without my beloved Cannondale CX Ultra for two months.
I am back riding again and buying a new bike soon. Another Cannondale Quick CX Ultra.
I love to ride, explore new places and  enjoy the peace and solitude you cannot enjoy in a car.  I spent over 2 years building that bike like I wanted it. Now I am starting over.
If I am not riding a bike I enjoy working on them.
As long as I am able I will ride. May GOD bless me for many more years.  I am now 62
