One of the Most Important Lessons my Dad Taught Me

My Dad taught me many things.  One of which it's more important to spend time enjoying the beautiful world around us than anything else.  Probably the only the thing to compete with that is spending those moments with family.  Me and my Dad spent many hours when he was here bike touring New England roads.  Some of the most memorable trips were the back roads to the Northern Massachusetts and New Hampshire Beaches.  It was a time I will never forget.  Spending days soaking in the New England Sun on endless bike routes through rural New England roads.   I was blessed then, and have become blessed again with a son who has caught the bug and has invited me to join him bike touring in the Northwest Florida Community where I now reside.  It's funny how it seems almost a part of our family,  not just something we do, but in our blood.  Our bikes feel likes extensions of our souls that bring us to places that the civilized world will never touch.  It's our escape, our calling, and our saving grace.  I guess that is where hobbies end and passions start.
