My Dad didn’t believe in training wheels
Geoffrey Brown - New York, NY
I was 4 years old. My Dad didn't believe in training wheels. He first placed me on the seat, steadied me with one hand and, like all good Dad's ran with me until my first crash-second crash-third crash. I never gave up.
He taught me that when he wasn't there to steady the bike with his strong hand guiding me forward, he showed me how to lean on the side of the house and push off. I became an independent riding 4 year old real fast and I have never gotten off.
My forever bike was given to me as a present on a significant birthday-I came downstairs the morning of the birthday and this Seven all Ti all Ultegra was waiting for me-I won't ever need another bike!blog comments powered by Disqus
