It started in Canada

Last year, my family and I took a trip to the Pacific Northwest and were in Vancouver for a few days. We thought it would be neat to ride around Stanley Park. It had been a couple decades since I'd ridden a bike.  Riding in Nashville in the summer wasn't fun - heavy bike with just a few gears, tons of hills and HOT HUMID weather. But, my husband bought a bike earlier in the year, and I really got the fever. Part of me was afraid I would wuss out and never ride, but once I started I got a little addicted. I ride it for fitness. I ride it to see and smell the different seasons of the year and soak up the last sun of the day. The Natchez Trace is here, and it's a great challenge. I just keep getting on and keep getting better and enjoying it more. My sister bought one too and just a couple weeks ago my mother bought hers. This is the thing I can do forever, no matter what age. I look forward to my future on a bike and hope Nashville (drivers!) will get more and more friendly to those on two wheels.
