I was born to ride

I was born to ride.  Growing up in the suburbs was an ideal place for a kid with a bike.  Circa 1970's:  The finally day arrived to remove my training wheels (I begged my father to "FINALLY" remove them).  Once removed, he then asked me to wait on the driveway while he went to put them away in the garage.  Well, I guess he didn't move fast enough and I took off down the driveway and down the block.  My first REAL bike was a Schwinn.  It was yellow, had a banana seat decked out with flowers on the seat, a white basket with plastic flowers on the front and streamers at the end of the handlebars.  While writing this, I realize that my current bike is also yellow!!  I aptly  named my bike (I LOVE my bike!)  not only for bike but because it is yellow and black.  Photo attached.  I own a Giant OCR Limited.  I keep it inside my apartment and guard it with my life.  Some could say I am obsessed, but aren't we all with our bikes?  I have taken many rides with "B" and we have been through a lot together, which is more than I can say for some of the romantic relationships I have experienced.  "B" and I have a strong, silent and unconditional commitment:  I take care of her and she takes care of me.
