Don’t miss out!
Sam Yale - Asheville , NC
While it's true I ride to stay in shape (and to lower my health insurance costs) and to reduce my petroleum usage (which will ultimately lower injury to our earth and our international relations), another reason I ride is to gain perspective. Perspective? Yes, perspective. When you're in an automobile, you drive past and miss out on so many things because you're moving too fast and your limited surroundings. The ability to stop and check out some cool rock, bird, flower, a person in need and other things are out the window. Yet when I'm on a bike, everything slows down. Certainly my main focus is on safety, but my options to observe and gain perspective are multitudinous! Happy pedaling!blog comments powered by Disqus
