Since committing to a car-light lifestyle with my family of six in July, we have adopted cycling as our primary mode of transportation in Huntington, WV. Seeing how accessible, practical and beneficial this choice was, I have launched the first Kidical Mass ride, a Bike 101 course, and I am beginning monthly Cycle Socials. I have also gotten involved in the development of our pedestrian/bike trail system through a fundraising for the trail. There is a big story developing here in Huntington and all around the world. I am so happy to be a piece of the change.
