Bike riding in Memphis

Bike riding in Memphis

I started walking and as I was walking I saw people out riding bikes on the trails. SO I got out my old bike I bought at Target and started riding it on the trails after I got me a bike rack. I start riding with my friend every morning on the Memphis Greenline. I joined the Memphis Hightailers Bicycle Club. I then got a little more serious about riding. I bought a nice Trek Hybrid bike. I met a couple of Hightailers through Facebook and they invited me to join them with their biking buddies group.  I went with them to the Tanglefoot Trail in New Albany and rode the trails from New Albany MS to Houston MS (44 miles one way, and that was 88 miles round trip). After that I really got serious and started riding a whole bunch. I just love to ride my bike. To day this year I have ridden 2,750 miles. I ride every day and when I miss riding I feel quilty and I usually end riding that afternoon.  I have only been riding since October 2013, but I am a bike riding fool. I feel great after I ride and I have seen more places aorund town that I have seen while driving a car.  SO that is my bike riding story. The picture I have attached is during my first Memphis Hightailers Club ride which was the St Paddy's day ride.
